Experience

Amadeus Cigan (they/them) is an artist currently studying for their craft at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Their multimedia practice concentrates on finding the commonalities between mediums and creating dreamlike spaces using abstract pattern and form. Experimentation, iteration, and curiosity are the cardinal virtues to their practice. Amadeus is inspired by travel and has studied and shown work in both Tokyo, Japan, and Boston, Massachusetts. Their recent solo exhibition in the Student Union Gallery at Kutztown University, though, has acted as a thesis to this body of work; Dream Bleeding/Bleed Dreaming captures this repetitive pattern and elaborates through iteration on how this artistic approach seeks to capture something from the great beyond.
